Our Markets

West Side

We live where we work. This innate, on-the-ground understanding of the market is what sets us apart and what gives our clients an upper hand.

Starting with Santa Monica and Venice, the Westside is home to hundreds of leading companies in the technology, e-commerce and entertainment industries. For this reason, the area from Santa Monica to Playa Vista and into Culver City has gained the moniker ‘Silicon Beach.’ Besides its amazing weather and access to the sunny beach, the Westside has its fair share of stellar restaurants, retail, and entertainment.

The 2016 opening of the Metro Expo light rail line to Santa Monica has been a welcomed addition to life on the Westside. Visitors, area workers and residents can now travel between Downtown LA and Downtown Santa Monica, with stops in Culver City, West Adams and other burgeoning neighborhoods

East Side

Meanwhile, the Eastside, with its strong historic character and hipster sensibility, has seen a wave of new residents and amenities that are drawing a network of diverse office tenants and development opportunities. Much of the Eastside’s momentum was sparked by the redevelopment of Downtown LA (DTLA), which brought the Staples Center and adaptive reuse projects to DTLA starting in 1999. Surrounding Eastside neighborhoods like Echo Park and Silver Lake have since seen their own signs of progression that include new housing and retail concepts along Sunset Blvd. The cultural allure of the Eastside and its market of new office space in and around DTLA has led to notable leasing activity by heavyweight tenants like Warner Music and Spotify.
